On the web simulator page, you can test your code if it runs well in the competition simulator.
Please make sure to test it on the web simulator before submitting it for the 2018 World Cup.

Web Simulator Manual

** Chrome and Firefox are recommended for web simulator. It may not work on Internet Explorer or Edge browser.

File Format

(1) Write your code name as your team name. Supplementary codes besides main code (if you have one) can be any name.

(2) Create a folder with same name as your main code name (team name). If your code is written in C++, add ‘_cpp’ after your folder name, or if your code is in Python, add ‘_py’ after it.

(3) Zip your folder in ‘.zip’ format using 7-zip program. Click ‘add to “your_team_name.zip”’. (If you use any zip program other than 7-zip program, you are not be able to upload your file. It is required to use 7-zip program.)

(4) Check if zip file name is same as your original folder name.

1. AI Soccer

(1) Click ‘Upload’ button and upload your zip file. If you success uploading it, you are able to see ‘Upload succeeded’ pop-up message

(2) Choose an opponent that you want to compete with and click ‘Run’ button. Teams are arranged by their rankings.

(3) As you run simulation, you are able to see the simulator like the image below. It takes few seconds to load a game.

(4) Click ‘Play’ button and start the game.

Your team is set as red. You can also click the console window to find the additional information.

2. AI Commentator

(1) Click ‘Upload’ button and upload your zip file.

If you success uploading it, you are able to see ‘Upload succeeded’ pop-up message, and updated date and time will be appeared.

(2) Select the AI Soccer teams that you want to give commentary. Then, click ‘Run’ button to start simulation.

Teams are arranged by their rankings. A and B will be red and blue team, respectively.

(3) As you run simulation, you are able to see the simulator like the image below. It takes few seconds to load a game.

(4) Click ‘Play’ button and start the game.

You can click the console window to find the additional information.

(5) As the game starts, your commentator will comment on the game, and you are able to find the comment on the right upper corner of the game simulation window.

3. AI Reporter

(1) Click ‘Upload’ button and upload your zip file.

If you success uploading it, you are able to see ‘Upload succeeded’ pop-up message, and updated date and time will be appeared.

(2) Select the AI Soccer teams that you want to summary the soccer game as a reporter. Then, click ‘Run’ button to start simulation.

Teams are arranged by their rankings. A and B will be red and blue team, respectively.

(3) As you run simulation, you are able to see the simulator like the image below. It takes few seconds to load a game.

(4) Click ‘Play’ button and start the game.

You can click the console window to find the additional information.

(5) When the game is over, click ‘Exit’ button to exit the game.

Then, you are able to see the report file is uploaded. Click ‘Download’ button to see how well your reporter analyze the game.
